I wanted to share some great pics from the Fair 2019
Once saved always saved, but if one has been once truly saved, then they will persevere in the faith always, to the end. John Piper in his book “The Supremacy of God in Preaching” summarizes Jonathan Edwards concerning the main purpose of preaching. “Preaching is a means of grace to assist the saints to persevere. Perseverance is necessary for final salvation. Therefore, every sermon is a “salvation sermon”—not just because of its aim to convert sinners, but also in its aim to preserve the holy affections of the saints and so enable them to confirm their calling and election and be saved.” Have a great week!

A great day at the Lamoka Baptist camp open house. Kids toured the campgrounds, played games, tried out the kayaks and paddle boats. They met their camp counselor. Only two weeks till teen camp!
Youth group: we had a nice turnout for our first movie night. Thank you to everyone that came to watch the movie, Risen. This movie allows people to think about what it may have been like after Jesus arose from the dead and before He ascended to heaven. It makes a person think....Jesus was innocent of everything, however, He still suffered, died, and rose again for You and Me! I’m one very grateful soul!!
